Workshop on European Law-Making at the German Federal Ministry of Finance

On 9 September 2025, a workshop on European law-making was held for the members of the drafting team at the German Federal Ministry of Finance in Berlin.

The meeting offered valuable insights into the legislative perspective behind the drafting of EU law, including the structures, procedures and specific drafting techniques of EU legislation. The exchange was particularly valuable for the drafting of a European Capital Markets Code, as it provided a deeper understanding of how legislative concepts are developed and translated into legal provisions at the European level.
