Workshop on Corporate Disclosure in a European Capital Markets Code

On 15 February 2023, the research group focused on corporate disclosure in a European Capital Markets Code.

Corporate disclosure is a central element of EU capital markets law and one of the areas in which questions of coherence, terminology and regulatory design are particularly important. The workshop provided an opportunity to discuss how disclosure obligations could be addressed within the broader structure of a European Capital Markets Code.

The discussions contributed to the project’s work on market conduct and corporate disclosure and formed part of the continuing development of the Code’s substantive architecture.
