Conference on Fundamental Issues and Market Abuse

On 20 and 21 October 2022, the research group convened for a further conference dedicated to additional manuscripts for the project’s first two volumes.

The discussions focused on fundamental issues of a European Capital Markets Code as well as questions relating to market abuse. The conference helped refine several contributions to Volume I, dealing with the foundations of a European Code, and Volume II, addressing market conduct and corporate disclosure.

The event formed an important step in transforming the project’s initial concept into a structured research programme and in preparing the academic foundations for the subsequent Oxford University Press publications.
