Dialogue on the Codification of European Capital Markets Law at BaFin

On 22 January 2026, a meeting took place with members of the Securities Supervision division at BaFin to discuss the ECMC project.

The discussion covered the overall objectives and structure of the project, as well as selected draft provisions, in particular on prospectus law aspects. The exchange provided valuable insights from supervisory practice and offered an important practical perspective on the project’s regulatory approach.
